I went to Xi'an two years ago and had the best noodle dish. They were thick noodles on a sizzling platter with sweet sauce. Does anyone know the name of this dish, or where I can find a recipe?

Could you leave more clue about this noodle? How about the restaurant's name, or is the noodle fried or steamed?

I am sorry but I do not remember the name of the restaurant. The noodles were long and about 5mm thick. They were fried and were served on a very hot sizzling platter. The sauce was orange in color and did not have a smooth texture. It was only noodles and no meat. Thank you for your help

Sorry M! Really don't have any idea about the noddle. Is the noodle fried with black pepper and served on a black sizzling platter. If so, this noodle is cooked at these Cantonese restaurant. Here is a picture: http://www.dianping.com/photos/2799484
