About:Guilin Travel

Hi.
I'm thinking of going to Guilin for a few days next week, 17th to the 20th maybe. Is 3 days enough? Is it best to be based in Guilin and take a daytrip to Longsheng or is it actually worth spending the night?
Anyone know of a reasonably priced English speaking travel guide??? Or is it easy to travel alone?
Thanks in advance.

Three days are enough. Will you make a stopover on Yangshuo? If the weather is good in Longsheng, I suggest you stay one night there. The sunrise in the terraces are beautiful. Not very difficult to travel along, but you still may have some problems in transportation and accomodation. If you do not wamt to jion in a tour, prepare for those problems in advance.
