Hi, if I travel to Shanghai during the Chinese New Year 15 Feb 2010 to 20 Feb 2010, will many shops and restaurants be closed? I hope someone can advise me. Thank you.

The large department stores, supermarkets, hot tourism area and popular restaurants will be open all the same. However, these wholesale markets and trendy boutique may be close then.
