I would like to travel by bus from Panzhihau to Emei Shan during the daylight hours. Is this possible?

The distance between them is about 590kms, and there is seldom buses is in operation currently. However, there are 7 trains departing from Panzhihua to Emei currently, taking about 9~11 hours on the way. Then, from the Emei Railway Station to the mountain, it takes you about 20RMB by taxi.
