Yes, Hong Kong is a bit expensive than Guangzhou. Wholesale markets in Hong Kong also have those stuff from Guangzhou. However, you can find some different stuff make from local or Euro styles. Well, I will say, it is more comfortable to get around markets in Hong Kong. They are not far from each other and you can visit both. To find the quality between Hong Kong and Guangzhou, Shenzhen is a nice choice too. Get to Causeway Bay, there are markets nearby Paterson Street, Hennessy Road and Yee Wo Street.
