Hi,I'll be travelling to Guangzhou in January, will be there from 20th January 2010 onwards.Since I have kids and infants travelling along, please advise on the weather so that I can be well-prepared.Thanks

The weather in Jan is changeful although the temperature could keep around 10~15C sometimes. Windy days also happen there. Usually, please keep warm sweater and coat for the kids. You'd better pay attention to the weather forecast before leaving.

The weather in January can be cool during the day and at night.  Somedays it could be windy, but usually that happens when there is a major cool front in the north.  It is mostly dry, but could rain a day or two.  I would worry more about the pollution, because Guangzhou is so dirty, dusty, and smog which is mixed with morning fog...can you imagine the smell?
