Why not apply for Chinese visa in your own country? Now, it is not certain that you can get a Chinese visa from a third country. You have to try your fortune.

i currently live in beijing and my chinese visa expires on the 4th of february. im aware that i must leave china every year to make a new visa but, for financial reasons, do not plan to return to the uk for a while. im also aware that an f visa can be made in hongkong but(also for financial reasons) i would rather save myself the extra flight to hongkong and simply make an f visa whilst on my scheduled holiday in thailand this january. i know its a little complicated but please let me know if it will be possible as i will need to begin arranging all the neccasary documants.
thanks again....
