About:Lucky Numbers in China

Hello, the number plate on the car I recently purchased reads: LR 8888
Does this have any special meaning to the Chinese? I’m unsure what the LR may stand for. I'm pretty sure the 8's bring good luck.

LR denote the issuing place of the number plate. As you said, 8 is a good number in Chinese culture. So your car plate number with four 8 brings the utmost good luck. Good luck!
