i want to travel from canton to hong kong by bus.

Question

I want to travel from Canton to Hong Kong by bus. I got informations that there are lot of buses from near the big Canton hotels to HK. Is it true or exist only two buses from Yuexiu South Bus Station ?What means, Stopover Metropark Hotel Mong Kok, Shun Tak Centre Sheung Wan,..... is it place in Hong Kong ?Regards,Dragan

As I know, there is only one bus departing from Yuexiu South Bus Station to HK. It is suggested that you go to the China Hotel or the Hotel Landmark Canton, both of where there are many buses departing to HK everyday. Metropark Hotel Mong Kok and Shun Tak Centre are two places in Hong Kong, where bus stop is set.

If I go to China hotel to travel to HK, can I buy ticket inside bus or I have to go day before to bus station to buy tickets in advance? Where will be custom formalities if I go by bus between Canton and HK ?

No need to buy ticket in advance, although it offer booking in advance. You can buy ticket when you find the the bus at the hotel. It passes Huanggang Border custom between HK and Shenzhen.

Because of after long weekend (03 Jan. I have to trip from Canton to HK), there will be many people come back to HK after their holidays, maybe I can not find bus ticket (can not find free seats) on bus station near the China hotel? What do you think ? Can I buy bus tickets in advance, with online payment from abroad ?

Hi Radenko, you could purchase the bus tickets in advance. The bus' official website supports ticket-booking online.
