About:Guilin Travel

Hi....I am planning to visit Guilin 9-16th Dec free n easy. Is it very cold now? Any recommendation about where to stay...eat....and sightseeing? I speak Mandarin ( Malaysian )but can the local understand my Mandarin? Advisable to move around on foot ( trekking )?

Tq for any info...

it`s not very cold now ,about 13-15C.you can stay in the Sheraton Hotel ,and eat something in Rosemary or Amani Cafe Bar.you can take a boat cruise on the Li River.

The weather is fine that the average temperature is about 15C during daytime. A warm shirt is enough. As for hotel, you could choose one located in city center, where transportation to other parts is easy. Most of the locals could understand Mandarin well. Just speak slowly!

I think you should make a travel plan firstly, and then choose the best method for visiting this city.
