About:Foreign Embassies & Consulates in China

Im a Filipina who used to work in Shanghai,China under a working visa, right now I have a pending canadian immigrant application. One of the requirements I need is a police clearance from China. Can Somebody tell me what to do, I'll be in China this Feb 2010. I just need to know the exact procedure in getting the police clearance. Thank you

Please go to the Shanghai Public Security Bureau or the police station which has jurisdiction over your residence in Shanghai to get the police clearance, it takes about 2 weeks. however, in some places, the police clearance will be issued to you on the spot.
