How can I get to Shantou from Perth, Australia?

Get to Perth Airport and fly to Hong kong. From Hong Kong Airport, you can find direct bus to Shantou. However the bus is at 7:25 and get there 4 hours later. Or Fly to SHantou from Hong Kong directly if you can not catch the bus.
