About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

I have a question,
I am a yearlong American student at Peking University. I came in with a 90 day multiple entry F Chinese visa, but instead of leaving and entering after 90 days, I applied for an extension and my new visa is a single 90 day visa that expires on Jan 5th 2010. I have the idea of going to South Korea over the holiday (December)to apply for a new visa. My question is when I apply for a visa through a travel agency, what are the chances of getting a multiple entry visa again?

yes, you have to apply for a visa through a travel agency if you want to apply in South Korea. I think the chance of getting a multiple entry visa is slim. Why do you need a multiple entry visa? If so, you have to leave china when the stay duration of each stay in up.

I would like a multiple entry visa in the event that I need to go back home (the United States) for example, if there was an emergency. Having that option would be nice
