About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

We're a Singaporean family traveling to Hong Kong & ShenZhen in mid December 2009.
Our Indonesian domestic helper will be traveling with us.
Does our Indonesian domestic helper require a China visa when entering Shenzhen for a half day trip via Hong Kong?
If yes, may I know the charges and procedure?

yes, your Indonesian domestic helper requires a China visa to Shenzhen. She can apply for a special economic zone tourist visa at the entry ports of Shenzhen. This kinds of visa allows 5 days stay in Shenzhen.

Mr Lee,
Does it mean that when we arrive at Lohu(ShenZhen), she can apply for the special economic zone tourist visa on the spot?
May I know how much does it cost? Thanks
