About:China Southern Airlines

Hi! We want to go to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan using China Southern Airlines. The flight that available is via Urumqi which has a transit of 7 to 8 hours (overnight). My question is would they allow us to stay inside the airport or we need a visa to china if we want this flight?

Yes. You are allowed to stay in the airport without a Transit Visa. According to the regulations: Visas are not required of aliens who hold air tickets to the final destination and have booked seats on international airliners flying directly through China, and will stay in a transit city for less than 24 hours without leaving the airport.

Thank you very much Mr. Sanjay! Could the Southern Airlines give us any letter to show at the airport of origin that we could stay overnight in the airport as a transit without any problem? Because people in the airport may not be aware of the regulations.
