About:Chinese Embassy in Belgium

Dear,

My family (Belgian husband, Canadian wife and three dual-nationality children under 18 with Belgian passports, residing in Belgium) are going to visit China next year. I assume we all need L visas. Everything seems clear except the hotel reservation bit; my father (Canadian citizen) rents an apartment in Shenzen for his work (he is an airline pilot for Jade Cargo) and he has said that we may borrow his apartment for our holiday. However, although we plan to spend the majority of our time in and around Shenzen, we would like to make a short trip to Beijing and will probably stay in a hotel there. My question is: will a hotel reservation in Beijing for a couple of days suffice for a visa to visit China for 20 days entering from HK, or will we need to account for the time spent in my father's apartment and if so, how do we do that?

Sincerely, Leanne

You can ask your father to provide you an invitation letter enclosed with the valid address of his apartment in Shenzhen and stamped by the local police of Shenzhen to help you to apply for the China L tourist visa.
