hi, my family is planning a 1 day tour to the Great Wall next week. Is Bandaling Great wall applicable for kids ages 6 and 8? How about the climate, is Bandaling Great wall appropriate or safe for hiking any day of the year? Thanks

Yes, Badaling is the most famous part of the Great Wall and it is very safe to climb. But it's very cold recently, especially on the great wall. But you will do lots of walking and climbing on the wall. I think you won't feel very cold. Take it easy and you will have a good time there.
