i am planning to follow my wife to china for 4 months,she was married to me since 2006

I am planning to follow my wife to China for 4 months,she was married to me since 2006 and we register here in Malaysia.What are the prodedure and the document that we(both me and my wife) need if we register our marriage in China?I hope i can get ready all the document before i go to China.And what kind of visa that i should apply in order for me to stay in China for 4 months,please advise.Thank you very much.
