About:China Visa on Arrival

i'm a Malaysian and i need to dep to Shenzhen tomorrow. i had my single entry visa applied, unfortunately, some change on the earlier plan as i need to go in Macau then back to Shenzhen again and fly back to Malaysia. Can i apply for visa on arrival in Shenzhen before heading to Macau? If yes, where and how much is the fee?

You can apply for the visa-on-arrival at the entry ports of Shenzhen (Luohu, Shekou), however, it only permits 5 days stay duration in Shenzhen and you can't go to another place within the 5 days, therefore, you need apply for a double entry Shenzhen tourist visa because you will go to Shenzhen twice, otherwise, you should apply for Shenzhen tourist visa for two times.
