About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Hi, I'm a Malaysian holding a Singapore PR. I will be travelling to Nanjing with my father this coming Friday and i would like to make the visa within 1 day. As my father is a Singaporean, he does not need to apply for visa. But I found out that i need to produce a proof of air ticket and hotel reservation to make visa.

However, we will only be checking into a hotel after we reach there, which means that we won't be making any hotel reservation before we fly. Does anyone has past experience of applying without proof of hotel reservation? Can anyone gives me suggestion too?

There is no other option, you have to get a certificate of hotel reservation, you can't bargin with the embassy. The consular officers have the authority to refuse any applications inconsistent with Chinese laws and regulations, and are entitled to change and /or revoke any issued visas, without providing any explanation.

I'm holding Malaysia passport and residing in Singapore as a PR, I did ask the same question on 30 October that does the China Embassy requires us to provide the accommodation address for China Visa application (they did ask for it during Olympic period) and I received your reply on 31 October that They don't require us to provide accommodation details.
Q1. Do they need us to provide accomodation details?
Q2. If so, could I provide my China friend's address?

Q1. The hotel reservation is ok for visa application, now, the accomodation details is not required.
Q2. If the accommodation is required, you can provide the hotel address or your friend's address.
