About:China Visa on Arrival

Hi,

My friends and I will be travelling to Guangzhou tomorrow and we plan to meet up with friends in Macau before we head back to Thailand.

We applied visa for entering to Guangzhou as a Single Entry visa. Our flights will be arriving in and departing from Guangzhou. We are Thai and holding Thailand passport.

Questions are :

1. When we're entering to Macau from Guangzhou, do we have to apply for visa and is there a visa on arrival service?

2. When we're departing from Macau back to Guangzhou, is there a visa on arrival service?

1. You can apply for a visa on arrival when you reach Macau.
2. If you go back to Guangzhou from Macau, there is no visa on arrival.
In fact, you need a double entry visa to Guangzhou because you will enter Guangzhou for two times, Guangzhou-Macau-Guangzhou.
