About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Hi,

I am a filipino and I have just been granted a work visa until November next year. My concern is that since I need to renew my passport at least 6months before expiry (expiring Dec 2010), I am told that my visa is automatically cancelled upon issuance of the new passport. IS this true?

Please help, thanks!!!

It is not true, the visa on your old passport together with the new passport is still recognized in China.
