what did they do with the construction workers who died?

My teacher once told me that they burned the bodies then buried the bones. is that true do u think?

Some burned and Some buried only 300,000 died.

I heard they were put buried at the trenches of the wall. Some say at the foot of the wall but I don't agree because that would make the wall unstable.
