About:China Embassy in Thailand

Hi,
My thai boyfriend is planning to visit me for a week in china in a couple of days.
1) Apart from the passport, photo, application form, does he also need to provide evidence of his round-trip ticket?
We would rather settle the visa permit first before buying the ticket in case anything crops up. Any advice?
2) The visas can be processed in a day for 2300 Baht?
3) Can he apply for the permit in the consulate general in Songkla? Or must he go to bangkok?
4) What are some of the reasons that they would deny a thai citizen a holiday visa?
Thank you very much and looking forward to a favorable reply ! :)

1. round-way air ticket is necessary for China tourist visa application.
2. If he request the rush service, the visa can be got in the same day for THB 2,200.
3. He can apply for the visa from the Consulate General of China in Songkhla.
4. The China Embassy has the right to reject any visa application without giving any reason, so it may be the problem of his application documents if his application was refused.

Thank you for your prompt reply, Mr Joseph :)

Does he also require proof of his hotel confirmation? What if the hotel booking is made under my name and not his?

Am i right to say that he just needs his air ticket, passport, passport photo and application form? is that sufficient?

Cheers :)
