we are going to Manila by continental airlines via hongkong and transfer to Philippine airlines. We have only 80 minutes for the transfer. Are the gates used by continental close/far to the Philippine airlines. Thanks

A little confused! As I know, when you arrive at Hong Kong Airport, you have to walk to the departure level for boarding gate if already have onward boarding pass. If not, you have to the transfer area for check-in and then go to the departure level. It doesn't matter how long the distance is between the gates of these two airlines. Since you don't have to go through customs and claim baggage, 80 minutes is enough for your transfer.
