About:Harbin Ice Festival

I will be in Harbin on Dec.25-29,2009. Will they allow entrance to the ice and snow festival / snow world even if it hasn't officially opened? Will I see the ice buildings illuminated at night? This worries me that I won't be seeing this attraction.

The Ice and Snow Festival officially opens on Jan.5, but other attractions like ice and snow world are open to public before that. Detailed information is yet to be confirmed but you are likely to have a good time there during your travel date based on the event of previous years. Don't worry.
