About:Embassy & Consulates of Philippines in China

i'm working as a foreign language teacher in shandong province.for the past two years, my employer has processed for me the extension of my residence permit here each time i signed the contract for another year's work.usually this occurred in the month of july after i finished a school year contract.furtheremore, my employer has expressed the desire to hire me for the next five years on a yearly basis.now my passport expires in november 2011. when is the appropriate time for me to renew my passport and where if i decide not to go back to the philippines for the next five school years?

You should go to the Filipino Embassy in Beijing to renew your passport because Shandong Province is under its consular jurisdiction. I think you'd better renew it before October 2010 because the extension of one year residence permit is made in July.
