About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Hello: I have purchased a round trip ticket to Hong kong. I know Philippines get 14 days in Hong Kong. Are there any requirements for the visa? Somebody told me I need a letter of invitation from the Philippines Consulate. Is this true?
