About:Beijing Great Wall

Is it possible to trek the Great Wall without being on a tour? Are there reasonable facilities that make overnight village stay possible without booking?

Hi, of course you can make the Great Wall travel by yourself. It is much flexible and cheaper. For example, if you will go to Badaling, you can take bus no.919 at Deshengmen Station. There are many farmhouses near the wall, where you can stay and usually they do not need booking especially in the travel low season.
