About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

I tried to get a Visa to China last week but it was closed.
I have tried to find out what was reason for that but I could not.
Would you know what is the reason for that?

It is closed due to APEC meeting until 16 Nov. They posted the notice on the official website under latest notice.

I look through the official website of China Embassy in Singapore, I find that there is a notice released by the embassy: The consular Section of Chinese Embassy will be closed from 10 to 16 November. For enquiry, please visit our website at www.chinaembassy.org.sg or call 64712117.
