Hi,
I am a Malaysian working in Thailand, I will be visiting Shanghai in mid of December 2009. Could you please advice what do I need to bring along for my visa application in Bangkok. How much do I need to pay for the application fees if I intend to collect it the same day?

If you go to Shanghai for tourism, you should apply for tourist visa and prepare the following documents:
1. Your valid actual passport.
2. One completed Visa Application Form with one additional passport photo (black & white or color is acceptable).
3. the two-way flight ticket, hotel booking confirmation or itinerary
4. your work permit or residence permit of Thailand
The fee is 2,300 Bahts in total for single entry tourist visa and you pick it up on the same day.
