About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

my friend coming to visit me from china, if he apply travel visa by himself, does he need a letter from Singpaore? could it be more convenient if he apply thru travel agency?

yes, it is more convenient for applying a Singaporean visa through agency because the travel agency know the requirements, procedures of visa application. But I hear that the applicants should give 15,000 RMB to the Singapore embassy as a deposit, the deposit will returned to them after they returned from Singapore on time.
