About:China Visa

Hi. I currently have a 1 year F visa. I have been told that China is no longer offering in country extensions of this type of visa--that you must leave china to get a new visa. Is this true? Is there an agent around Shanghai or any city that can get an extension of an F visa?

I haven't hear that China has stopped F visa extensions. You may go to the local security bureau to get the exact answer if your are in Shanghai now.
