Hello. My family will travel in June to beijing next year. We have spent the school year researching and planning the trip. Are there any things you would consider a "must-know" before we arrive? We are so excited about the rich heritage and culture of China and cannot wait to visit. Thank you for any advice.

June is a beautiful month in Beijing, but normally it is a rainful season, so take the necessary tools is a smart choice. you can also take sunglasses, as the sun is also strong, IF you don't plan to take travel agency, you should make a travel schedule, and change your money to RMB before you leave US.

Well, China is a must-go country. Other things than that would depend on yourselves. But there're sayings like: If you've never been to the Great Wall, you' re not a good man. And almost every sightseeing has a saying like that.
If you are interested in bars, houhai or chishahai is a must-go. If you are interested in sports, then the bird nest and other Olympic buildings.
So what are you interested in? Natural things or achitecture? Historical or modern? There would be different suggestions with different interests. So would you please tell your interests and then I could give advice? By the way, it would be hot in June...
Amd welcome to Beijing.
