About:Chinese Embassy in India

i have got a Ph.D.offer from Chineses academy of science (CAS)beijing.i want to ask about the student life in china which have Indian origin and also let me know how much time take in a visa approval for a Indian student. my course duration is about 3 years so for which type of visa i need to apply also inform me document required for visa process.

A China visa application process usually takes 4 working days if everything goes well. if you will study in China, you should apply for a China Student visa.
You may have to prepare the following documents:
1. Application form: All applicants should fill in one visa application form appropriately and authentically.
2. Applicant's passport valid for at least six months with at least 2 blank visa pages.
3. One recent passport size photograph.
4. One Passport photocopy.
5. Covering letter from the applicant's recently graduated school, university or applicant himself/herself.
6. Admission Notice issued by the university in China.
7. Student visa application form (JW201 Form or JW202 Form) issued by the Ministry of Education, Government of China.
8. Physical Examination Record for Foreigner (which can be downloaded from Chinese Embassy website or collected from Visa Office, Chinese Embassy) issued by doctors from an Indian state hospital.
