About:Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh

I am A.T.M. Maniruzzaman editor of `fort-nightly -chitra bichitra' magazine. I am Bangladeshi. My profession is journalism. I intend to go to first time china.I would to know the actual requirements needed for tourist visa? Please let me know what actually needed for Journalist tourism myself visa.
and why I got invitation letter from China ?

You can see the requirements for Chinese tourist visa on this website http://bd.china-embassy.org/eng/lsyw/t569035.htm But I think that you maybe asked to provide other documents because you are journalists.
