I am going on a Gap Adventure tour on 28 November 2009. Flying into Beijing and flying out of Hong Kong. I will need a Chinese Visa. I live in Winnipeg. I do not know anyone in Toronto who could take my application in, but can get someone in Ottawa to take in my form to the Ottawa office. Is this acceptable?

I do not yet have my flight tickets, as I wanted to make sure that I could get a Chinese visa prior to ordering them. My flight tickets are on hold until 3 pm Nov 9, 2009, at which time I will lose them if I do not get back to Gap adventure.
