I am working in china and holding a valid Chinese working visa. My visa is going to expire on 23 Nov and I am planning to apply for visa on 10th Nov, so that I can get the visa before it expires.

My problem is I have to go to Shanghai on 16th by plane. If I apply for visa, I have to submit my passport to them to get the visa stamp on my passport. Whether I can take the plan in china without having my current passport. I have old passport with the chinese visa, but as the passport book finish, so I change a new.

Any suggestions.
