About:Mutianyu Great Wall

Hi,
I'll be going Beijing end Nov 09 with my husband and 8 year old son. Intend to visit Great Wall. Thinking of either Mutianyu or Simatai. How far long is the journey form Beijing to these locations. Any recommendation on accomodation at Mutianyu? Thank you.

Hi, Mutianyu is about 45 miles to Beijing and Simatai is about 75 miles to Bejing. You can stay at Great Wall Villa which is located at the foot of the Great Wall.
