About:China Visa Fees

We are applying for six month L-F visas-multiple entry-=-180 days each entry through a visa agency and their fees they say is 6500 rmb each--so for the two of us 13,000 rmb

this seems to me to be very excessive fees

can you tell me the actual fees charged by your visa offices

thank you--(we have Australian passports)

yes, it is expensive. however, since even australians can only get 7-15 days from the China consulate, you have to pay what ever they are asking. it is now very, very difficult for a china visa. there is one company in macau that charges 5,000 rmb for 1 year multi entry: 86-15344868900

As you appear to be in China.... it is not normally possible to get more than a 30 day visa while in the country. If an afency can arrange it, you should simply consider whether it is worth paying that level of fee.

A 6 month F visa is not too bhard to get, but you will need the co-operation of someone in China to provide a letter justifying your application. If you have that, you probab;ly don't need to pay the high agent fees...otherwise...your choice.
