About:Mutianyu Great Wall

Is it possible to climb the Great Wall (Mutianyu or Badaling) if it is snowing or raining? Will the steps be slippery? We will be in Beijing from 9 - 13 Nov and the forecast says snowy/rainy on those days. Thanks.

You'd better choose a nice day to visit the wall. It can be too dangerous if you go to the wall in rains, because the wall is located in high altitude where visitors may be hit by the thunders in rainy days. If it rains, you must close your cellphones. In snowy days, the steps are slippery. You should take care coz there are many ups and downs.
