About:China Train

Is there a faster train to Hong Kong? Could I take a bullet train to an destination along the way, then switch to a slower train or a bus?

Trains are affordable but take a long time. Airfare is fast but costs about $300 USD. I am looking for a compromise if one exists.

You may take train or flight to Guangzhou or Shenzhen first, then take express train to Hongkong. It will save you some airfare and airport tax fee.
