About:Hong Kong Travel

Hi

My whole family, 3 adults & 2 children are going to hong kong this 9th Nov. This is our first time there and would like to ask a few questions:

1. From hong kong airport, what is the fastest & cheapest method to get to Disney Hollywood hotel? Can luggages able to enter the train or bus?

2. When we checkout we will head to Royal Plaza hotel, what is the fastest & cheapest way to get there from Disney hollywood hotel?

3. From Royal Plaza hotel we will stay 3 nights, can we cover Ocean Park, ladies market, Temple street, victoria park and Tsuen Wan Park? Sorry abit greedy thinking if it is possible to cover so many places in 3 days?

4. From Royal Plaza hotel, how do we get to Ocean Park, will we be lost not knowing how to go back? Is it near to MTR?

5. When we finish view Ocean Park, which is the must see tourist attraction nearer to Ocean Park? Kindly advise how to travel.

6. If we take bus or take train, do we need to buy a one way MTR card or a permanent train or bus card to travel cheaply?

7. How is the weather in November? is a normal sweater enough to keep warm?

8. By the way, is it a must to give tipping when we check in the hotel? how much tipping?

9. Are there any night market nearby Royal Plaza hotel, what time do the night market close? Is it safe to roam about at wee hours?

10. Last but not least, what is the travelling time to travel from Royal Plaza hotel to the hong kong airport?

Thank you thank you very very much for anyone who can help :)

1. you could hire a cab driving to the Disneyland Hotel directly with a fare of about HKD120. Pleae use the cab in blue color.
2. please use the metro from Disneyland to get to Mong Kok directly. The journey is about 35 minutes and costs HKD18/adult and HKD9/child. Exit from the metro station, you would walk to the hotel in 10 minutes or hire a cab driving you there quickly.
3. yes, you could visit these place in 3 days easily. One day one park, and go to the Temple Street at night. The Ladies Market is also close to the hotel, so you could go there anytime.
4. From Mong Kok station, you could take the metro to get to Admiralty directly in 10 minutes. Choose the Exit B, you could catch the bus 629 to arrive at the Ocean Park directly, vice versa.
5. it is suggested that you take the 620 back to Central after visiting the Ocean Park. At Central, you could take the Peak Tram to visit the Victorial Peak.
6. since you will not stay in HK for a long time, no need to purchase the Octopus Card (a permanent card you mention). Just purchase the bus or train tickets when you use it.
7. It is warm here, so a thin sweater or jacket is enough. Usually, locals wears short-sleeves shirts as well.
8. it will be kind to tip the porter HKD5 when you check in.
9. I think you have found the night market-Temple Street, which is the most famous in HK. It is open from 20:00 until the next 06:00. Please take it easy that the security is ensured.
10. if you use the free bus to Kowloon from the hotel and then take the Airport Express to HKIA, please prepare 1~1.5 hours.
