About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Hi I am arriving in Beijing on Friday 10.30pm and leaving next day for Australia at midday. Please advise if I need a transit visa? I would like to leave the airport to go to a hotel outside of airport. I am an Australian and EU passport holder and my partner who will be travelling with me is French. Your assistance would be appreciated. Many thanks. Andrew

Thankyou. I wonder if anyone can tell me if there is any hotel within the airport in Beijing? I think I am going to just spend 12 hours in transit at airport (not leaving) so I dont have to get a visa. Any idea if Beijing airport is a nice airport too? It would be great to have some activities to do to pass the time... THANK YOU

You need to apply for a China transit visa.
