About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

Hi, I am a Malaysian who is currently in Hongkong. I am invited by a company for business purpose and i will receive my invitation letter in next couples of day. So i intend to apply my F visa in Hongkong. (Prefer to have a 6month multiple entry F type visa). May i know rather than invitation letter, any other kinds of document do i need? Is it hard to get approval?

You also need to prepare the following documents:
1. Your valid actual passport. The passport must have at least six (6) months validity left before expiration and at least one blank page left in it.
2. One completed Visa Application Form with one additional passport photo (black & white or color is acceptable).
3. a visa notification issued by the authorized Chinese unit, which specifies the validity, number of entries and duration of stay for the visa application.
