My family and I will be going to juizhaiguo during the X'mas holidays 2009.Will it be very cold and what sort of winter clothings to bring as  we don't want to be caught unprepared. we are bringing our 4 year old grandson along.

Yes, it will be very cold. Wear feather down clothing, thick pants, thick boots, and thick socks. Anyway, it's cold and you shall be prepare both physically and mentally.

Hi,It was already cold when I went to visit it in September so I guess it will be much colder in December! I would also suggest not to forget to recharge you camera battery (especially if you stay there several days) because the landscapes there are really beautiful.
