Dear Sir,My name is  Suresh Hettiarachchi. I want to travel to china for the china coat 2009 and to visit our suppliers in china. This is the first time i will be traveling to china. I will be traveling with MD of Union Chemicals Lanka PLC. Do i have to obtain a visa information letter from china, isn't a invitation letter sufficient to obtain the chinese visa.awaiting your early reply.Suresh E mail ucll.lk|suresh

Yes, you need a visa notification from the competent office of the Chinese government, the invitation letter from your Chinese supplier is not sufficient for visa application.

Dear Mr Norman,Thank you for the reply. I want to travel to China on the 17.11.2009 for the China coat and a business meeting. I have already applied for visa notification letter through the Chinese supplier. But it seems to take a bit long time. Is there a way i could get my visa to proceed with my plan. I have already arranged the meeeting with our suppliers as well.please be kind enough to help on this issue.Suresh

URGENTDear Helper,Our Chinese Party wants to know from where he can get the visa notification letter for me. He seems not sure about the proceedure. Can you tell us what is the authority in Shanghai he can go to in order to obtain a Visa Notification Letter for me. The chinese embassy in Sri Lanka needs four days to issue a business visa. I have to submit the visa application nest monday (9th).
