About:China Embassy in Thailand

Hello, I'm Australian and will be going to China for 3 months on a single entry visa. I have to go to Thailand for a conference, so my question is whether I'd be able to apply in Bangkok for another single entry 3 month tourist visa to China? Many thanks.

Do you have a single entry visa now? If you already have one Chinese visa, you don't need to apply for another single entry visa. Because the new Chinese visa will make your old visa expired, only one Chinese visa is valid.

Yes, I only have a single entry visa, but after I go from Beijing to Bangkok, I will need another visa or entry to re-enter China. Can I immediately apply for a new single entry visa to re-enter China? Thank you!
