About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

My friends are Spanish citizens coming to Thailand for a holiday in December 2009. They wish to visit China during their stay in Thailand. Can they apply for a Chinese tourist visa in Thailand, or must they apply for a Chinese tourist visa in Spain, their country of residence?

Your Spanish friends can try to apply for a China visa in Tailand. There should be no problem.

Or they can go to HK first and get China visas there.
HK is almost the easiest place to get a China visa.
