About:China Railway Map

Hello,
I will be in shanghai and planning to go climb Mt Taishan in november, i would like to know if there is direct train from shanghai to Taishan and what is the cost and travel time. where should i book my ticket. is this the best way to travel to Taishan or is there any other alternatives. Appreciate if some kind frequent travellers can gave me some valuable advices. Many thanks for attending to my questions. grace

Yes, there are trains from Shanghai to Taishan. Here are some of the train schedules:
